Exact fees and Requirements for Crossing Border

Hi,

I plan on driving from the US to Costa Rica. Does anyone know the exact fees and requirements for crossing each border (Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica)? Also, which border crossings are the best. And does anyone have any good recommendations for temporary vehicle insurance?

BEst place i have seen to get this info, is ramblewriter.com they did a trip from Raleigh, NC to Buenos Aires over a year, with very detailed border info, a great read too, best blog I have read.
