Zetas killed the top candidate for governor in their region, the state of Tamaulipas, on Monday. That's the state you'd cross in in South Texas.

There's nothing really new here -- this has been going on for years. But when people tell you "it's dangerous" down there, it can be. However, remember, this article doesn't say, "Zetas Kill a Bunch of Gringos Minding Their Own Business".
