Trip from Alaska to Argentina

Hey everyone! This site is great! I'm so relieved to see that I'm not the only "crazy gringo" out there.
I'm planning a trip across Canada from Nova Scotia to Washington State, ferry up to Alaska, drive back through Canada, USA, Mexico etc. to Argentina and then to Brazil. I Want to leave in June or July of 2011.
