Howdy,
My wife and I are on a year long trip instead of settling down and buying a house in Toronto.
We've traveled up to Alaska and Inuvik in the Northwest Territories in Canada and will be leaving aiming for Panama via Baja starting late Sept/early Oct and are looking for peeps to hang out with and share info plus possibly caravan along parts of the journey.
We're in a tiny truck camper on a Mazda B4000. I will email both of you shortly to see what some of your itinerarys are.
Great to see that there are folks planning the same thing!
Cheers,
Peter (and Leah by proxy)
Hey guys,
I left Vancouver a few weeks ago on my trip down to Nicaragua, driving an old Toyota LE Van. I will be crossing the Mexico border within two weeks and then the real excitement starts. This is my first time doing it and I am mostly winging it. Catch me at simonmcconnell (AT) gmail.com if you feel the urge.
Cheers,
Simon
This site is GREAT! It has eased so much apprehension that I had. A buddy and I are traveling down to Costa in 3 weeks. We will be coming from North Florida leaving on the 10th of October. Hoping to make it to Nosara, Cr. by the 20th-23rd. That's with stopping to surf at a couple spots (Barra, Libertad, Popoyo) I've always wanted to surf. We will be in a black 95 4runner. Just wanted to share my stoke.

My wife and I and two dogs will be driving from Colorado to Costa Rica sometime in October in a 96 camper van. We've done it twice in the past 5 years and wouldn't mind a caravan for at least part of the trip. We're still debating how long we want to spend in Mexico and exactly when we'll be leaving, but are getting our plans finalized now. Feel free to contact us anytime at wallacejer@yahoo.com
