Finally on the Road - NC to ???

Hola,
I'm finally on the road. I left my home in Wilmington, NC last night and I'm currently at my first stop in Charlotte, NC visiting some friends. I'll be meeting Jon 'Groundclown', who I met through this forum, near Nogales around March 14 to cross the border together.
From there we're gonna be wandering aimlessly for the next 6 months or so down through mexico and Central America - kite surfing, surfing, camping, spearfishing, checking out ruins and whatever else comes our way.
If anyone else wants to join the caravan, just give a shout. I believe we're gonna stay pretty close to the beach most of the time. But we're both keeping a veeeeery loose itinerary.
Well, wish me luck getting through the deep south and hello to everyone else out on the road!
