Just got back from Panama on motorcycle

Hi all ,
I got back from my trip to Panama last week ! Had a great time ! I took my 81' xl500s and it did great ! Got 70 mpg ! I had a new tire when leaving from Northern California (Red Bluff) and bought a new one in Costa Rica, and went to Panama and back to L.A. on it ! I was going to buy a new one there but could not find a one as this bike uses weird sizes ! But it turns out I did not need one as some A** H*** stole my bike in Gorman CA. ! I took the train to Sacramento and then the buss to R.B. !

Sounds like you had a great time. I am planning on doing this trip from Pensacola FL. to Panama around this time next year. Did you do the trip alone or as a group? If you had any problems or any advice that you think would be helpfull, please let us know.
