satellite internet?

I'm going crazy trying to find satellite internet that we can take with us. I've heard of wildblue, echostar, starband, but none are CLEAR if I can take them on the road. I've found those enormous dishes that cost a grand, and $150 a month, but I figured there's something cheaper. Does anyone have any ideas for satellite internet you can take through central and south america? We'd mount it on a van, not an RV, so it can't be too big.
