Nayarit or Bust

Hello folks. This is my first posting and I am asking for answers right from the start. Planning road trip from Central Iowa,USA to a small town (EL Tonino) in the state of Nayarit, Mexico.,about 35 miles North of Puerto Vallarta. I've been building a Winter home there with the help of a "Presta Nombre" and time has come to drive my pick up and 14' enclosed cargo trailer with personal household items and tools. All of the Items I am takeing are used, collected from friends and family members. My tools ,truck and trailer are making a round trip. I plan to drive and cross into Mexico at Laredo,Tx. Here is where I am Seeking Help. Are the forms for the Mexico Border available ahead of time to be made out and have in hand when I get to the Border? What can I expect as far as time to set aside for inspections, Are there fees for entering Mexico and Customs? I will have both American and Mexican auto INS. to cover truck and trailer already in place. What can I expect? Has anyone made the drive that can lend advise? This area of Mexico has many Canadians wintering there. Its a beautiful place. Open to all contibutions of info. Will gladly share the trip info I learn upon my return.
